The COVID pandemic has been rampant in India and is overwhelming the health care system. India is currently in one of the worst positions right now as they are short on healthcare workers as well as beds and oxygen for patients. This is heartbreaking for me because I have many family members in India and being so far away makes it hard to help. So many citizens have been struggling with this since the beginning of the pandemic, and it is important for us as Americans to realize that the pandemic is still prevalent in our world, even though it is better for us here.
