Recently in France, the president has announced a new Jewish center in Paris that represents peace and unity among the Jewish population and other Europeans. France has the largest Jewish population among all of the European countries and this center represents the new future of the two communities. This 10 year project aims to fight against the anti-semitism that has been present in Western Europe due to WW2 history.
I think the integration of the synagogue in France is very progressive and necessary to promote unity among the two. It sets an example that racism should not be tolerated and that we should accept everyone as they are.
