OU hosted a Latin Night event in the Union on March 9th where there was an opportunity to learn about latin dance, learn some dance moves, and have a good time!
I went with two of my friends and as soon as we walked in, music was playing loudly, and everyone was dancing very well.
Everyone was predominantly dancing the salsa and since none of us knew exactly how to dance the salsa, we decided to observe everyone and their dance partners.
I felt that this event was a really cool way to bring the OU community together and was welcoming to everyone of all levels since they taught the dance moves and encouraged everyone to participate. I really like this event and would want to attend another like this. I really love that OU has a lot of diverse activities open to their students and I personally love getting involved and learning more about different cultures.
