This semester there was another OU cousins matching party to be set up with a new OU cousin. This event was super fun and interactive and I got to meet a bunch of new international students. For the first half of the event, we played a game where there were a list of prompts in which you had to find an international student that shared the same thing as you, such as “same eye color, same major, etc.” This helped us figure out who we connected with and who could be a potential OU cousin of ours.
My friend Natalie and I decided to pair up with these two girls from Bolivia and Colombia and their names are Ines and Natalia. For the rest of the night, we played bingo with them and got to know them a little better. We plan to go to OU cousins events together and eat out and explore Norman so they can see everything while they are here for this semester. Since I didn’t have an OU cousin last semester, I am super excited to have this opportunity this semester and foster an international friendship.
