Last week I was able to attend a presentation led by my Spanish professor. This presentation was about a new piece of writing that he’s working on, where he was inspired by Latin American artwork and historical pieces. This was really interesting because he used the historical aspects from these images as metaphors for different writings in his book.
This presentation was really interesting to me because I was able to see his thought process and inspiration of the literature which is not something that readers often have insight on. It was also really cool to see how other people in the audience interacted and shared their thoughts of the art pieces.
